There are lots of projects in the jungle. Many are run by just regular people like Amanda and Lea. They have really thrown their everything into this and built a strong skilled volunteer team to make it happen, and ensure that it is an ongoing project with potential to grow. Sadly they have little funds – and are relying on donated caravans and self funding drivers. This is not sustainable. Without self funding drivers and donated caravans it costs around £80 to fund a driver, £200 for a return ferry crossing, and around £250 – £500 to buy a caravan. However what rocks into that jungle is incredible! A stand alone self sufficient home with built in furniture, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. With the help of solar panels they can have power too (there is a solar panel team).
